MTA:SA Race

Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas Race is one of the best mods for GTA:SA out there. What this mod does is actually adds a whole new feature missing from the original San Andreas game.

This feature is something a lot of games have: multiplayer gameplay. The MTA team created this open-source software to give GTA:SA users the ability to play against each other. The "Race" version of MTA only allows users to be inside a vehicle, but they cannot get out for a walk. However even though MTA: DeathMatch has already been released, this mod is still very popular.

Once you install all the game files, you have the option of creating an MTA server, which is managed through a very practical HTML application. All the settings and configurations can be easily done through the browser application. Once the server is launched, or when you find a server through a server browser (like All-Seeing Eye) then you join the game. You can select, depending on the server, what vehicle you want to start with. There are many maps created just for this mod, many of them are for racing, stunts, or just pure mayhem. Get this mod, it gives a whole new depth to GTA car racing.
